Hey kiddo's,

It's been a while! Mostly because life was a little busy and there was very little to tell you.
But here we are again, and here are some updates!

First and most important: it's time to get ready for another transmog competion! Next week, Wednesday the 28th of March at 20:00, we expect to see you all for the first (annual?) MISS AZEROTH BEAUTY PAGEANT! Now make sure you're well-prepared for this one, as this contest will contain the following rounds:

1) A formal gear round
2) A swimsuit round - please note, your character's lingerie (or lack there of) DOES NOT count!
3) A question round with the classic: how would you get world peace going? If you're going to have a wall of text, please prepare it beforehand. This contest will take some time and we would like to keep the pace into it for everyone.

So be prepared, start gathering gear and amaze us all with your beauty and wit!

Secondly, our resident warlock Xayou has been toying with the idea of making a Steel Legion feature short intro movie. Because he can and reasons. He's just started on a 3D sketch:

Personally I think it's already looking pretty awesome! Xayou would love your input and help for later in the project. It would be great if we can all help him by recording stuff we do in WoW, especially when in guildgroups. This can be anything from raiding to mythic plus to just toying around. He'lll need clips for later in the project.

Third, we know we're all a bit bored and burned out at this point. We've done the content, it's basically on farm, numbers for attendance are tending to be a bit low. For now myhic is not an option, as we need a group of 20 regulars to be able to tackle that. Fortunately, we do have people we can count on on a regular basis and for that, thank you!
In the light of this, I'd like to say the following: most of us love raiding in this group. And during those raids, we sometimes get sloppy, we zone out, we make puns (shitty or good, all puns are beautiful!) and mess around. But when messing around, please don't take it too far. Don't go ahead and pull bosses for the hell of it or because you think it funny. Some people pay for buffs like food and runes, they immediately consume those before the pull to beat the shit out of everyone else on the meters or because they want to be prepared. If we wipe because you sought to lighten the mood, that backfires. We all put time, (virtual) money and effort into these evenings. Playing pranks can be done in other ways. Other than that, it costs time and focus as well. So before doing stuff like that, please take a moment to think: would I like having to redo my costly buffs and repairs?
And regarding those buffs: please get your buffs and tokens BEFORE the raid or during the break so we don't have to wait for you. It's in all our interests to do these things as fast as we can. And if another raid member helps you out with food and pots, please repay them or think to repay them. Most of us are too nice to ask.

With that out of the way, I'd like to thank you all for the incredibly nice title of Guild Mom. This was a name given to me by Mel originally and quickly picked up by each of you. It's a title I carry proudly and now also officially: it's been made a rank. So thank you!

I'll try and update a bit more often. Of course, I'll be covering the transmog competition, so I'll see you soon! Feel free to comment and don't forget to give Xayou your input!
